The Aerobatic Competency Evaluation program administered by
the International Council of Air Shows provides the entire air show industry
with a tool for periodically evaluating the aerobatic competence of air show
pilots who perform aerobatics at U.S. and Canadian air show. In a rare
partnership between ICAS, Transport Canada and the FAA, the ACE program
prescribes minimum standards, the rules and regulations by which evaluations
are conducted, and the necessary qualifications for both evaluators and air
show pilots.
This portion of the ICAS website provides details on the ACE program and the
pilots qualified to act as ACE evaluators.
